I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS OR WHAT EXACTLY IS WRONG WITH IT. WHEN I HAVE THE AUX CONNECTED THE STATIC CRACKLING SOUND TENDS TO BE LESS. I HEARD THE STATIC CRACKLING NOISE MORE WHEN THE FM IS PLAYING. WHAT I DID NOTICE IS THAT AFTER AN HOUR OF CONSTANT PLAYING THE SOUND WAS LESS OFTEN. THIS IS THE REASON WHY THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD FOR REPAIR OR RESTORATION ONLY SOLD AS-IS FINAL SALE. I DID TEST BOTH OUTPUT CHANNELS “A” & “B” and BOTH OF THEM ARE WORKING GOOD, FRONT AND REAR. THE LEFT FRONT INDICATOR LIGHT IS GONE ONLY THE RIGHT SIDE IS ON AND THE TUNING BAR LIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS DIM. PHONO 2, PHONO 1,FM STEREO, AM, AUX1, AUX 2 LIGHTS ARE WORKING. ON AM THE TUNING LIGHT IS GONE. ALL THE NEEDLES ARE WORKING EXCEPT THE LIGHTS. PHYSICALLY THIS ITEM HAS SCRATCHES, SCUFFS, SCRAPES, CRACKS, NICKS, DINGS AND CHIPS AS PICTURED. THE INTERIOR OF THIS UNIT HAS DUST, PARTICLES AND NEEDS TO BE CLEANED, I TOOK PICTURES OF THE INSIDE OF THIS UNIT SO YOU CAN SEE THE CONDITION YOURSELF.
