Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1983). Oleg Dmitrievich Maslyakov was born in Sevastopol. Lived in Tula (1933-1953), studied at the art studio of N. I. Orekhov. He graduated from the Moscow Art School in memory of 1905, studied with S. Dobroserdov. During his studies, he was engaged in front film advertising in cinemas in Moscow, created the first political posters. Since 1957 he has been constantly working in the field of social and political posters. Collaborated with the workshop “Agitplakat” of the Union of Artists of the USSR, with publishing houses: “Soviet Artist”, “Fine Art”, “Soviet Russia”, “Poster”. He worked in the Workshop of visual agitation of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR. Since 1990 he has been painting. Author of a number of articles about the poster and the book of poems “To you” (M., 2004). Author of social and political posters: “Get ready for your journey, man!” (O.D. Maslyakov, E. S. Tsvik; 1960), “You cannot dare to spy today and in the future” (1960), “We are strong with one will, we swore an oath for peace!” (1961), “Youth to collective farms!” (all -1962), “I dedicate my flight to you, XXII Party Congress! Cosmonaut Major Titov “(1963),” Worker! Save a minute every day! ” (1963), “Always ready for a new feat!” (1965), “Profitable Enterprise – Income. Beneficial for the plant – beneficial for the people! ” (1966), “Profitable for the plant – profitable for the people!” (1966), Get Out of the Arab Land! (1968), “Sport is a faithful assistant in work” (1973), “Let’s please the Motherland with new successes in 1974!” (1974), “May 1. Maslyakov are kept in the isofond of the Russian State Library (RSL), the State Museum of Political History of Russia (GMPIR), the Volgodonsk Ecological and Historical Museum, the Mordovian Museum of Local Lore named after I.D.
